This section in the website contains a fully searchable Qur'an with Arabic text.

1) Various translations

Three searchable English translations by Shakir, Abdullah Yusufali and Pickthal, and commentary by Agha Puya / S.V. Mir Ahmed Ali. Examples of two simple searches:

  • Search by selecting from the list of Chapters (Surah) and specifying the verses (aayaat). Specify the translator (and commentary if required) and press Display, or
  • In the search section type in the word you are looking for, specify the translator and it will list out all the verses that contain that word.

2) Online Qur'an Project


All Qur'anic Chapters start with a brief description of the contents followed by ayah by ayah Arabic text, transliteration and translation by Shaykh Ali Quli Qara'i, the English is simpla and well suited for our children.

The translation is searchable in this website by:

  • Clicking on the name of the Chapter (Surah). All Chapters start with a brief description of the contents followed by ayah by ayah Arabic text, transliteration and translation
  • Clicking on the Menu button on the top right corner will take you to a screen allowing browse by you.
  • Clicking the Search button allows search by word. This then lists out all the verses that contain that word.
3) Qur'an Topic Index 

All Qur'anic Chapters start with a brief description of the contents followed by ayah by ayah Arabic text, transliteration and translation by Shaykh Ali Quli Qara'i. This site contains index of the Qur’an by topic arranged in alphabetic order.

It lists keywords in alphabetical order with ease of search provided by clickable alphabets. For each keyword a list of Qur’anic references are provided which give clickable Chapter:Verse (Surah/Aya) numbers. Clicking on these references takes you straight to the verse and gives translations of Yusufali, Shakir and Pickthall but no Arabic text.
