The World Federation is pleased to announce the launch of its updated and improved iSistani app, which is available immediately to download from the iTunes Store or through Google Play now.

This revolutionary and unique mobile app, which works on tablets too, offers guidance on spiritual and practical aspects of day-to-day Muslim life through the rulings of His Eminence al-Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may God protect him).

The app gives an individual experience that’s as user-friendly as it is resourceful. Once installed, you will be able to search multiple law manuals in one go, add your own notes to each law and bookmark any rulings you want to refer back to – giving you access to rightful practices right at your fingertips.

In order make sure the iSistani app remains a valuable and accurate source of information for the community, the latest version has been updated with the very latest rulings from His Eminence al-Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may God protect him) as well as the addition of new and amended rulings from the third edition of Islamic Laws.

This gives an easy and user-friendly approach to understanding the rulings that guide us on how we should live our lives.

Members of the community who have downloaded older versions of iSistani are encouraged to download the latest version, as previous versions may contain outdated rulings.

Connecting with all generations

The iSistani app is the first mobile app to have translated rulings of His Eminence al-Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may God protect him) into the English language.

This will make the rulings more accessible to current and future generations and allow even more members of the community around the world to benefit from this exciting initiative.

Thanks to the apps intuitive and user-friendly design, you can browse all edicts with ease. The app also offers further detail and clarity on areas of Islamic law, for example the Arabic, Latin and English names of the permissible scaled fish.

Users can also use the app’s built-in search facility to quickly locate rulings relating to a specific subject. In addition, users can take advantage of the in-app notepad at the tap of a button and bookmark rulings for easy access later.

Better still, the iSistani app has been built and designed so it can be used offline, without the need of the internet or a data connection. All rules and resources are stored in the app, so you will always have the guidance of His Eminence al-Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may God protect him), wherever you are.

The updated iSistani app includes e-versions of three insightful resources of translated works by His Eminence al-Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may God protect him), each of which provides detailed guidance and information on many aspects of Muslim life and is in English.

Islamic Laws

The third edition of Islamic Laws combines both Volumes One (Ritual Acts of Worship) and Two (Transactions), covering a wide range of important rulings about Muslim life, such as prayers, fasting and marriage.

This latest edition of this well-researched piece of work, annotated and translated by Shaykh Mohammed Ali Ismail, also contains helpful footnotes and numerous clarifications. This is further supported by a glossary of legal terms and an appendix featuring a table of weights and measurements. These extra features allow readers to gain a better understanding of the rulings.

A Code of Practice for Muslims in the West

‘A Code of Practice for Muslims in the West’ is a book that offers guidance to Muslims who live in predominantly non-Muslim countries. The diversity of Muslim communities worldwide brings about challenges of integrating values, systems and customs within the boundaries of Islamic Laws. Thus, this book helps provide practical answers and solutions. Topics covered include social interactions and medical issues, as well as work and investment.
