Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania organized a second mission free eye camp for Masasi patients. The Camp was held from 27th April to 2nd May, 2014, this was follow-on to the camp held in Masasi last year (December 2013).
A team of 5 surgeons and nurses and volunteers headed to Masasi on 27th April 2014 and were received by the Member of Parliament for Mtwara Region, Hon. Agnes Hokororo.
203 cataract surgeries were successfully carried out at Mkomahindo (Masasi District) Hospital and all the patients, by the grace of the Almighty (S.W.T.) got good vision.
