The Yazidi delegation visited Ayatullah Sistani to share with him the extent of their suffering.

After listening to their suffering Ayatullah Sistani replied by saying “The Yazidis are amanah fi a’nakina [our responsibility]”

The delegation said that this brought great relief to the community. “Our people were preparing to leave for Europe and Turkey, but with the words of Ayatullah Sistani will open a way for our people to stay.”

A reporter Agency (news of the future), who attended the press conference held by the delegation that "the representatives of the sect Yazidi confirmed after meeting the supreme authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani they came to Najaf, carrying a message to the supreme authority in which they expressed the extent of our respect and appreciation for the positions of Sistani toward tragedy , and we want to inform that message to the world that the risk posed is not only for Iraq but for the whole of humanity.

“The Yazidis feel safe in Iraq now,” said the delegation from the Yazidi minority community that visited Ayatullah Ali Sistani, spiritual leader of the Shi'a Muslims, in Najaf, Iraq. “We now believe that there is no difference between a Christian, Muslim or a Yazidi”.
