The President of The World Federation of KSIMC has congratulated Munawer Rattansey, Dr Akber Mohamedali and Navshir Jaffer on being elected to the National Council of The Muslim Council of Britain for the term 2014-2016.
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) is one of the UK’s largest and most diverse Muslim umbrella organisation with over 500 affiliated national, regional and local organisations, mosques, charities and schools. The MCB was inaugurated in 1997 and The World Federation is one of its founding members.
Munawer Rattansey, the immediate past Vice President of The World Federation has served as member of the Central Working Committee of the MCB and Dr Akber Mohamedali, the Lead on Capacity Building portfolio of The World Federation has served a term as the Treasurer of MCB. Navshir Jaffer, a past Secretary General of The World Federation has previously served as an Assistant Secretary General of the MCB
Collectively, they have been instrumental in coordinating several activities of the MCB.
