India's first Islamic satellite channel – Channel WIN

Alhamdolillah! In the last 22 years World Islamic Network has grown from a small organization distributing free Islamic books to a Satellite Channel reaching more than 33 countries. By the grace of Allah (s.w.t) many people have gained guidance and true knowledge of Islam through their books; and their Television channel is serving the same purpose today. May Allah (s.w.t) and the Ahlul Bayt (a.s) increase their taufiq to serve and guide our community and our society.
WIN TV (24x7): (First Shia Islamic Channel for Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Lucknow & Aurangabad): WIN TV (24x7) was launched in June 2006 with the aim of propagating the teachings of Ahlul bayt (as). At that time, WIN TV was covering around 4 million homes and after the tremendous response to the project of WIN TV they were greatly motivated to start the process for “India’s First Shia Islamic Satellite Channel that would reach different countries on the globe”. Thus was born the dream to launch “First Shia 24 hours Satellite Channel.”
With grace of Allah (s.w.t) and the blessings of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) the Government of India gave WIN TV satellite rights in November 2012 and now they are known as Channel WIN. It is a matter of pride that for the first time an Islamic Channel received an uplink and downlink license from the Government of India.
Alhamdolillah! This channel is currently reaching millions of homes across the globe and the viewers can watch Channel WIN in more than 30 countries on Intelsat 20 (IS-20), Channel WIN can be seen in Asia including the Far East and Middle East, Australia, Europe and even in Africa. Channel WIN has many wonderful and famous shows like Dastarkhwan (cookery show), Haqeeqat Today (News roundup), Dars e Quran, Akhir Sach kya hai?, Sawalon Ka Safar (Quiz show), Masael e Zindagi (Q&A helpline show) etc. which are well received by their viewers. Moreover, Channel WIN has programs in Urdu, Gujrati and English.
