The word EID conjures up various images – the crescent, the joyous calls to family to announce its arrival, the smell of food being prepared for the festivities, the gifts that we start packing to give to our loved ones, the preparation of the clothes we will adorn on the days, the beautiful smiles of family and friends who herald the joyous day etc. However this Eid was somewhat very different. Change is on the way….
During the course of 2020, The World Federation will Inshallah be ramping up our service to the community with the launch of a new online portal. The portal will have a number of features:
- A revamped donation system to make it easier to donate to one or more of causes or appeals
- The ability to log in to quickly and easily make/repeat donations
- Manage your regular donations
- Access personalised services, such as pre-ordering or changing orders for planners
- Manage your contact preferences
Development is well underway, and we will initially be contacting current donors to ensure they can log in successfully. This will then be followed by a wider roll-out.
