From the Roots of Abraham’: A Unifying Moral Vision

Named after the great Prophet Abraham, who championed monotheism, this exhibition echoes the unanimous acclamation of monotheism in the three major faith traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

In these times of increasing conflict in the world, more than ever before, we must spare no effort in building positive relationships amongst everyone in the world. We owe it to the future generations, and the exhibition “From the Roots of Abraham” is one small effort to that end, offering Jews, Christians and Muslims to enhance their knowledge of and respect for each other’s faiths.

Question

We live in a community of hundreds of thousands of Muslims and have many ulema--many of whom we do not believe are qualified. How can a person obtain assurance (or certification) that the ulema that are giving advice and lectures are supported and qualified according to the rules of the Shia faith?
