The Secretary General of The World Federation of KSIMC, Shan E Abbas Hassam, recently sat with interviewer, Sakina Datoo, and shared his thoughts on the upcoming Triennial Conference.  This will be held on Friday 16th to Sunday 18th May 2014 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  

The World Federation conference is held every three years and allows the current team to report back on the work achieved during the term.  The conference is attended by individuals from all over the world and this year, over 100 delegates and invitees are expected to attend.

During the conference, several key issues will be addressed and a number of decisions will be made,  including the areas of focus for the next term.  Various discussions will also take place in relation to the organisation’s administration costs, the Madressa Centre of Excellence, capacity building, women’s needs, and much more.
