Week of Yemen

The World Federation part sponsors the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims, and attended a recent meeting on Yemen.

The discussions, co-chaired by Baroness Hodgson & Keith Vaz MP, revolved around UK foreign policy in Yemen, humanitarian workers in Yemen, the disproportionate impact of the crisis on women and children, & women's role in peace-building. We also attended the "Measuring Impact and Progressive Change" workshop held by the Muslim Charities Forum, where they discussed a bottom-up approach to be led by the UN to achieve a progressive change in Yemen.
