The Annual course provided students who are sitting the AQA unit 8 and unit 9 exam this June with an examiner’s insight, revision tips and the opportunity to practice questions using the recommended structure.

The students were trained on how best to revise and respond to exam questions and an insight into how the papers are assessed. The students were also given the opportunity to mark some exemplar answers and this enabled them to better understand the different question types and the exact requirements for each.

The session was also an opportunity for students from various Jamaats to network and exchange thoughts on exam preparation. Students that attended the course commented:
"I learnt techniques on how to structure the answers and think there should be more than one course on this throughout the year." Ambreen Khan, Hyderi
"The course has made me feel more confident and I feel I have learnt a lot from this especially answering 6 mark questions." Fatema Datoo, Peterborough
"I enjoyed answering the questions independently and feel I know the techniques now, the most valuable skill was learning PRIDE Q.” Saiyada, Leicester
