New Book Launched - ‘Seeking Light’: An Enlightening Perspective on the Concept of Wudu'

The act of performing Wudu’ is done a number of times every day by billions of Muslims, and is one of the earliest forms of worship taught to Muslim children. No prayer is complete without it, if not more than at least 3 times a day we perform this ritual.

At a very basic level, it is only a ritual that is performed and at many times we become oblivious to its sublime depth and wisdom. But there is so much more to Wudu’ than this. What does it really signify? What are it’s implications in the hereafter? And much, much more…

The World Federation of KSIMC is pleased to bring you this excellent publication “Seeking Light“- written by Shaykh Muhammad Khalfan.  A Short Treatise on the Secrets of Wudu’ as Portrayed by Imam Ali (as) which explores Wudu’ in a new light; as a source of radiance that illuminates the soul of a believer.

The reader will be inspired to perform Wudu’ with care and attention, and will understand the value of renewing his Wudu’ as much as possible.

Essentially, this book emphasises the important part Wudu’ plays in the purification of one’s soul.

The purification of one’s soul in a way such as Wudu’ is a key in the mission to becoming closer to Allah (swt). As the Holy Qur’an states ‘…Allah does not desire to put you to hardship, but He desires to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you so that you may give thanks. (5:6)
