The World Federation in collaboration with The Africa Federation was blessed with an amazing opportunity to contribute towards various Muharram programmes held in multiple local Shia centres across Africa. External Tableegh in Nepal for Muharram 1441
Muharram functions were held daily for both ladies and gents at the Islamic Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal. A total of around 150 attended the daily programmes. In order to cope with everyone attending, the ladies’ programme would start in the afternoon, followed by the gents in the evening.
The programme followed the process, starting with Ziyarat Ashura, poems in Urdu and Persian, lecture by their Resident Alim Maulana Zainul Abideen, eulogy recitation, latmiyyah and ending with dinner.
We are honoured to say that since the establishment of this Islamic Centre by The World Federation, this was the first Muharram Ashra that was held in the capital city of Nepal.
