Announcing Residential Youth Camps in India
The World Federation and KSI Jamaat Mumbai are pleased to announce the launch of the long awaited residential Youth Camps at Khandala, India.
A youth camp for girls aged 9 to 15 is scheduled to take place from 30th May to 1st June 2016 and a similar one for boys aged 13 to 16 is scheduled to take place from 2nd to 5th June 2016.
The course is aimed to cover a range of interesting topics including interactive sessions on Islamic guidance, wudhu & namaaz assessment, sports activities and personal development training. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop Islamically, spiritually and socially, with other likeminded children of our community.
A mentor training workshop will be conducted for mentors by Br. Shabbir Khalfan of The World Federation's Capacity Building team. Each mentor will have to go through 2 days training before the camp.
The World Federation receives feedback each year from parents who tell us about the positive changes in their child as a result of the course. A parent of a child who attended the youth camp in 2015 commented; "JazakAllah khair! Wonderful efforts by The World Federation. Thanks a lot for helping our children towards spiritual development with such innovative lessons. My son is back spiritually stirred..."
Another parent commented; "The whatsapp group created to keep parents updated of the camp in regular intervals kept mothers relieved that the girls are doing fine. In such limited fees you have provided good facilities with Islamic knowledge. You guys have done a terrific job for our little girls. Thank you so much"
The deadline for applications for this year’s camps is 30th April 2016 and is limited to only 30 students in each camp. To secure your place, please apply early.
You can register at The World Federation’s India office or by emailing [email protected].
