In October 2015, the Imam Ali (as) mosque was officially opened in Copenhagen in Denmark. This is now the largest Shia mosque in the country and has space for over 1,500 worshipers.

At the Fifth Executive Council Meeting held on 2 March 2008 at Stanmore, an action point was for the Capital projects Team to provide a comprehensive package to be made available on The World Federation website.
