21st Year Death Anniversary

On 21 March 2000 (14 Dhul Hijah 1420), the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Community worldwide mourned the passing of Marhum Mulla Asgharali M M Jaffer. Twenty-One years on, we continue to remember him and the inspirational, profound and unique legacy that he left behind.

21st March 2020 marks twenty years since the passing of Mulla Asgharali M.M Jaffer. We want to share with you our thoughts of such a great personality and how truly blessed we were to have him shape the future of our community.

The Shia Youth Development Project (SYDP) is a vocational programme managed by the Bilal Muslim Mission (Moshi branch). Recently, Sadi Joza, one of its African Shia Muslim students, passed and graduated as an Assistant Pharmacist at KCMC Hospital and has secured employment at the Ithna Asheri Hospital in Dar es Salaam. May the Almighty grant Br. Sadi continued success in the years to come.
