Opening of Dar al-Qur’an in Kathmandu

Maulana Dr. Mohammad Zainul Abideen, Resident Alim of our Islamic Centre in Kathmandu, started an online initiative for teaching the Qur’an in Nepal to help the locals to learn, understand and connect with the Holy Book. An open invitation was sent out for these classes to people of all age. So far, around 14 sessions have been conducted which have been greatly appreciated by the attendees. There is an average of 50-60 viewers, with the introductory session being viewed by around 90 people. Overall, these videos have received more than 600 views and keeping in mind that our community in Nepal is very small, these numbers are really commendable. Many of the viewers have left encouraging comments under the videos. These Qur’anic lessons are uploaded on YouTube and can be viewed here.
