Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi, WF President bids Farewell in Antananrivo, Madagascar 

The President of The World Federation, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi, addressed the 36th Ordinary General Assembly of Conseil Regional of Madagascar on 7th and 8th of February 2020.

Anwarbhai emphasised on the unity of our community as being a crucial element when bringing everyone together, especially in these difficult times surrounding us globally. He also stressed on interfaith and inter-community relationships and building bridges of strong bonds for a stronger future. 

Anwarbhai bid farewell to all those present and thanked the Africa Federation, Territorial Councils of Madagascar & Réunion Community members and leaders for their support and cooperation throughout his term. He said by him relinquishing the helm of The World Federation does not mean that his support and cooperation will end, he will continue his services to The World Federation when and wherever possible. 

He pointed out that his term at The World Federation 2017-2020 is coming to an end in a few weeks’ time and new leadership will commence. He prayed for their success and full cooperation. He ended with prayers and duas for Marjae Taqleed, Ayatollah Al Uzma, Seyyid Ali al Hussainy al Sistani, his office bearers, leaders of all Regional Federations and Jamaats and for all community members.

He congratulated Shaykh Haniphe Akbaraly who was earlier elected for the second term 2020-2023 unopposed to the post of Chairman of Conseil Régional of Madagascar. Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi was honoured by Conseil Regional Des Khojas Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamates De L'ocean Indien (CROI) with the presentation of Certificate of Recognition and Medal.
