Sports activities included Football, Cricket, Swimming, Trekking were the main highlights of this course wherein again students were focused on team spirit.

Each student was assessed for Wudhu and Salaah and was given the assessment booklet to keep for future reference.

Unfortunately one of the student’s Grand-father passed away back in Mumbai, this situation was immediately controlled by each student being taught how to give condolence followed by recitation of Sura e Fateha and Sura e Yaseen for the departed’s soul.

The closing session included skits by the students on what they have learnt from the course, a thanksgiving speech.

The campers arrived back in Mumbai fully changed into responsible human beings.

Feedback from parents:

The youth course has been becoming better every year. I have seen maturity in my son. His wuzu has been improved and he is reciting his namaz with punctuality.” Arif Munshi (Parent)

Ali has become self-confident, is able to mix well with others. He has also learned efficient time management. Such camps help bonding with peers in our community. Keep up the good work.” Amirali Merchant (Parent)

I am impressed by the way the community is responding to Youth Courses and Workshops. The youth course had an overwhelming response and the seats got full within just a few days of its announcement. I congratulate the India Office to have organised so many Courses and Workshops this year and best wishes for the forthcoming workshops.” says Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi (Assistant Secretary General of Islamic Education)

The sessions were held on Saturday nights from 11pm to 3am. The timing of the sessions were close to mid-night so as to get everyone’s proper attention and not to get disturbed by phone calls or other appointments during the sessions. The locations chosen were close to the Community centre in Mumbai so as to make it convenient for all to attend.
