The end of the calendar year is always busy at The World Federation and I would like to take some time to tell you about the projects we are currently working on.
9th March marks the death anniversary of Shaheed Laljibhai Sajan and Shaheed Hirjibhai Allarakhia

Laljibhai Sajan and Hirjibhai Alaarakhia were assassinated on 9th March 1901 while safeguarding the Khoja Mosque in Mumbai (Bombay). They are recognised as the first Khoja martyrs in the history of our community. The community is heavily indebted to these luminaries whose selfless efforts have made us reach where we are.
Every year as a mark of respect, the Khoja Shia isna Asheri Jamat Mumbai conducts a Majalis and Quran Khwani to commemorate their sacrifice for the community.
Let us recite Surat al-Fatiha for these beloved souls.
