The Significance of the Day of Arafah
In the name of Allah the most Gracious and the most Merciful.
Following the success of the book 156 pitanja i odgovora o učenjima islama – «156 Questions & Answers about the teachings of Islam», launched in March 2020, the Bosnian Office of The World Federation has translated and published 2 more books in the Bosnian language.
In August 2020, we successfully printed 1000 copies of “Istina kakva jest“ – translation of the book «The Truth as It Is» by the great scholar Shaykh Ja’far al-Haadi, and 1000 copies of “Porijeklo šiitskog islama i njegovi principi“ – translation of the book «The Origin of Shia Islam and it's Principles» by Marhum Muhammad Husain Kashif al-Ghita. Both these titles have been carefully selected based on the needs of our communities in the Balkan and have been distributed to all the members and libraries across Bosnia and the neighboring countries.

«The Truth as it is» written by Shaykh Ja’far al-Haadi aims at conveying the message of AhlulBayt (as) to the ordinary people. It's main objective is to spread the Truth about the Shi`a school of thought which has been widely misrepresented and misunderstood among people.

In his book «The Origin of Shia Islam and it's Principles», Marhum Kashif al-Ghita has tried to retell the history of Shi'a and the principles of Ijma' among Shi'a scholars and in addition to dispel the doubts on Shi'a Islam. He has also tried to modify the attitude of some Sunni scholars toward the Shi'as. The book also explains historical origins of Shi'a Islam, its principles, and its attitudes toward certain Fiq'hi and Shari'ah issues like wudhu, prayer, fasting, hajj, and zakat. The last part of the book discusses some important theological issues, including Bada' and Taqiyyah.
Both the books were given to Mr. Mirnas Karimovic, a well-respected member of the Bosnian Muslim community for his review and he said, “The books are very useful for introduction to Shia Islam – the Islamic school that has been widely misrepresented and misunderstood in today’s world even though today we live in the age of information.“ He especially liked Allamah Shaykh Ja’far al-Haadi’s book for its compassionate plea for inter-Muslim dialogue, tolerance and understanding the things that are of paramount importance in these times.

The privilege of being able to do the ziyarat of Bibi Masooma (AS) and Imam Raza (AS) is an honour in itself, but adding to that the role of a mentor, and being able to impact the lives of our youth for the better, added another dimension to my experience of this trip.
