WF India Office announces Workshop on Ahkam-e Mayyit

The World Federation’s India Office, in partnership with Mumbai KSI Jamaat, is holding a workshop on Ahkam-e Mayyit (rules relating to the deceased).

The workshop aims to give practical training to the participants on:

  • How to handle a dead body with respect
  • How to conduct Ghusl, Hunut, Kafan
  • How to conduct Namaz-e Mayyit, and burial
  • The rules concerning post-burial


The target audience is the youths of the community.

WF India organises Workshop on Ahkam e Mayyit

The workshops will be held on 9 and 23 February, and then on 9 March 2014 and will be conducted by renowned scholars of the community. Numbers are limited to 20 people per session. A special ladies batch will also be considered if there is sufficient interest.
