On Sunday 12 July 2009 the Ja'ffari Islamic Youth group of Toronto will be organizing an event for families with younger children or couples at the African Lion Safari, Canada's Original Safari Adventure.
The Husseini Islamic Center in conjunction with NASIMCO is organizing a workshop called “Constructing a Health Family” on Sunday 19 April 2009. The workshop will run from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The event is organized by MAMA Group under the auspices of Husseini Islamic Center.
The workshop will be presented by Sr. Marzia Hassan, a law student and professional speaker whose qualifications include a Masters in Social Work (University of Toronto), and a certificate in couple and family therapy studies (University of Guelph). The workshop is a certified course offering a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) Certificate by NASIMCO.
