Ramadhan Relief Fund 1436 Countdown: 29 Days To Go!

With the month of Ramadhan only 29 days away now, the excitement is building amongst Muslims all over the world. The Ramadhan Relief Fund is a campaign we bring to you every year to help our fellow Muslims all over the world who are undergoing hardships during this Holy month so that they too can feel the excitement that Ramadhan brings. This campaign has been an incredibly successful in the past and with your support, The World Federation has eased the suffering of many Muslims in many different countries.

Last year, the Ramadhan Relief Fund reached out to people in 21 different countries, which included Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Burundi, Republic of Djibouti, Haiti, India, Iraq, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Pakistan, Palestine, Reunion, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda and United Kingdom. Overall, in the 1435 (2014) campaign, we managed to support over 175,000 men, women and children thanks to all of the amazing contributions we received from our community members worldwide.

The donations we receive are used in a variety of ways to help people with different needs, from providing food baskets and clothes to medical treatments and debt relief and Eid gifts to children so that they too can feel the pleasure of receiving presents on Eid day. The World Federation has been blessed to help many families in the past few years, but there are plenty more in the same position who also need our help. Our 1435 campaign was, according to Shan-E-Abbas Hassam, the Secretary General at the time, ‘a breakthrough year for the Ramadhan Relief Fund where we raised and distributed just over $1.6 million USD’. This was the largest amount we have raised for the Ramadhan Relief Fund and we want to keep going in the same direction. This year, the needs of those struggling with poverty and hardships are that much greater and The World Federation is aiming to help more families. We need your help to make this possible. Please donate generously to this year’s Ramadhan Relief Fund. Your donation will mean so much to those in need.
