Maulana Dr. Mohammad Zainul Abideen, Resident Alim of our Islamic Centre in Kathmandu, started an online initiative for teaching the Qur’an in Nepal to help the locals to learn, understand and connect with the Holy Book. The World Federation continues External Tableegh work in Kosovo
In September 2013, The World Federation’s Islamic Education department met with NISA (www.vlera.net), an organisation that works towards Tableegh of the teachings of Ahlul Bayt in Kosovo.
Through the support provided by The World Federation, NISA has been able to print and distribute their magazine, which aims to show a compassionate face of Islam by promoting family values. The magazine has been very well received and reaches 1500 homes.
Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi commented: “I am delighted to see the excellent work being done in Kosovo. Inshallah from these small beginnings we can progress further to spread the message of the Ahlul Bayt (as). I am sure our generous donors will support this initiative, and that volunteers will come forward to join our external tableegh team.”
