In India, senior citizens are abandoned by their children because they can no longer afford to care for them. The World Federation supports these men and women with the aim of bringing dignity and peace of mind to our elderly.

According to the United Nations, Iraq is struggling with one of the largest internally displaced populations in the world - an estimated 1.8 million people - because of the extremist insurgent group known as ISIS (Da’esh). The UN has declared this humanitarian crisis as a ‘level three emergency’ – the highest possible emergency level.
