Kenmore Bake Sale for Ramadhan Relief 1436

On Sunday 14 June, Stanmore Madressa held their second annual bake sale to raise money for Ramadhan Relief.

People were encouraged to bake cakes, biscuits and other sweets and they were all displayed in a hall where the children and parents came in groups to buy. An incredibly large number of people came along and enjoyed the sweet treats!

Alongside the bake sale, there was also a competition to see how many fruits there were in a bouquet arrangement, a chocolate fountain with fruit, pick n mix and coffee. The World Federation also participated in this year’s bake sale by setting up a table to sell children’s books and toys. These items were all well-liked and we found ourselves selling out of a lot of the most popular items.  Visit The World Federation Shop for a wider selection.

Altogether, the bake sale raised £2,667 for the Ramadhan Relief Fund. The event was a wonderful success and we take this opportunity to thank Stanmore Madressa, the Kenmore Team and the Parents Consultation Board for all of their support and hard work in organising this fundraising event.
