This is a story of how a ZCSS graduate is now a sponsor for the scheme, which helps children in deprived areas receive an education.
Through the support of many generous and gracious donors around the world ZCSS (Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme) has been able to assist with the education of thousands of children in Kenya, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Haiti. These children have had the chance to gain an education which they may not have otherwise.
Those students who are sponsored through ZCSS put their heart and soul into their education. Time and time again we have seen that these students excel in their studies, bringing in top marks.
In the district of Chakwal, Pakistan where education is rare and the area is considered to be ‘backward’, 38 students who were sponsored through ZCSS appeared to write their matriculation examination. Of the 38, 32 students achieved a grade of A+ and 6 achieved a grade of A. These results are undoubtedly fantastic. Some of these students will be moving on to higher studies.
Through education these individuals are able to change their destiny, their future, their lives. All they need is a chance ~ and it all starts with a sponsor giving a few dollars a month. Isn’t worth giving a little each month to change the life of a child?

However in many countries the gap between male and female literacy levels exists because women have been discouraged from receiving the same educational benefits as men. Women also have less of an opportunity to pursue an education due to financial constraints, and often the males of the family are educated and the females are not.
