The Srebrenica massacre, also known as the Srebrenica genocide, happened in July 1995, during the Bosnian War. Two years before, the United Nations declared the besieged enclave of Srebrenica in the north-eastern Bosnia a "safe area" under UN protection.
The Office Bearers of The World Federation and The Council of European Jamaats want to hear what is on your mind!
As we arrived at the Al-Mahdi Centre in Wessex at 10:30pm on Friday 21 June, the complex was abuzz with activity. Delegates and guests had arrived for The World Federation Fifth Executive Council meeting for the Term 2011-2014 which was to begin the next morning, and sounds of conversations and socialization could be heard.
There was an exciting energy from delegates, councillors, invitees & volunteers at the Fifth Executive Council meeting for the Term 2011-2014 at the Al-Mahdi Centre in Wessex as the meeting convened on the morning of Saturday 22 June 2013.
