In India, senior citizens are abandoned by their children because they can no longer afford to care for them. The World Federation supports these men and women with the aim of bringing dignity and peace of mind to our elderly.
The World Federation’s Ramadhan Relief Program is in full swing in Mumbai, India where 1,440 food baskets containing basic grocery items are being delivered to sadaat and non-sadaat households for the month of Ramadhan.
Each food basket has been individually packed and contains items such as wheat flour, rice, sugar, lentils, tea and cooking oil. In addition to fasting in the summer heat, volunteers are hard at work making sure that families are taken care of this Ramadhan.

Food and other aid distribution are underway across parts of Africa, Inda, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Gaza, Middle East and Europe. The cost of one food basket is £30 GBP / $45 USD-CAD which will feed an average family of four for one month. Please donate generously to the Ramadhan Relief Fund 1435. As we enter the month of Ramadhan, your contribution will help support hundreds of thousands of families in their time of need.
